The 2g Cake disposable range, sold as Cake 2.0, was the brand’s answer to a straightforward complaint about the originals: one gram did not last. These devices double the tank, add USB-C recharging, and introduced Delta 8 and Delta 10 to the lineup.
What Is in the Cake 2.0 Line
Seven devices sit in this collection. The Delta 8 side covers a vape pen, a 510 cartridge and a live resin version. Delta 10 comes as both a standard pen and a live resin build with native terpenes. Rounding it out are two specialty extracts, Coldpack live resin and Animal Sauce, plus the HXC live resin pen.
The split between Delta 8 and Delta 10 is the main decision here. Delta 8 is the more familiar of the two and makes up most of the collection. Delta 10 appears in two builds, including one using natural native terpenes rather than added flavoring, which tastes noticeably less sweet than the rest of the range.
Why the Extra Gram Changes Things
Capacity and battery life are linked in a way that catches people out. A 1-gram disposable roughly matches its battery to its oil, so both run out together. Push the tank to two grams without a rechargeable cell and the device dies with oil still inside. Cake 2.0 recharges over USB-C, so the tank limits the device rather than the battery.
The practical difference is how often you are buying. At two grams a device lasts about twice as long as the originals, which means one purchase instead of two. A 2g Cake disposable therefore works out cheaper per gram than buying two of the originals.
How It Compares
If two grams is more than you need, screw-on Cake carts come in at one gram and cost less up front. If it is not enough, the newer Cake 3.0 disposables add another gram along with liquid diamond and ice diamond extracts. The wider Cake disposable range shows every ready-to-use option together, and everything Cake She Hits Different covers the brand end to end.
Flavor coverage differs between the lines as well, so size is not the only thing worth comparing. US shipping is free on all orders.
Before ordering any Cake device, it is worth knowing why lab results matter more than packaging when you are trying to work out what is actually in a cartridge.
