Buy Malaysian Magic Mushrooms Online
Malaysian Magic Mushrooms are a strain of Psilocybe cubensis with cream-white stems and rounded golden-brown caps, often dotted with white spots that give them an almost toadstool look.
The spots fade as the mushrooms mature. The caps keep a dome shape because the veils hide the gills until late in growth.
Origin and Genetics of Malaysian Magic Mushrooms
The strain was first collected and domesticated by MJshroomer, a mycologist and member of the Shroomery forum. Details on when and where it was found are scarce. It’s fairly rare and can be hard to track down, which keeps demand up among collectors.
Effects of Malaysian Magic Mushrooms
Commonly reported effects include:
- Visual and auditory hallucinations: sharper colors, patterns and sounds.
- Euphoria: a strong sense of happiness and well-being.
- Deep introspection: more self-awareness and reflective thinking.
Potency is considered average for Psilocybe cubensis, though experiences vary from person to person.
Cultivation: How to Grow Malaysian Magic Mushrooms
Growing the Malaysian strain follows the usual cubensis stages.
1. Strain Selection
Because the strain is rare, buy spores from a reputable supplier so the genetics are right.
2. Substrate Preparation
Nutrient-rich substrates work best:
- Rye grain: a solid nutritional base for mycelium.
- Brown rice flour (BRF): used in the PF Tek method and good for beginners.
- Coco coir and vermiculite: a popular mix that holds moisture well.
Sterilize the substrate in a pressure cooker or autoclave to kill contaminants.
3. Inoculation
Once the substrate has cooled, inoculate it with Malaysian spores. Work in a sterile space, ideally a laminar flow hood or still air box.
4. Incubation
Keep the jars or bags somewhere dark and warm, at 75°F to 80°F (24°C to 27°C). Colonization usually takes 2 to 4 weeks, depending on conditions and substrate. We also stock Teonanacatl Magic Mushrooms.
5. Fruiting Conditions
After full colonization, move the substrate to a fruiting chamber with:
- Temperature: 70°F to 75°F (21°C to 24°C).
- Humidity: 85% to 95%.
- Light: indirect natural light or low artificial light on a 12-hour light/dark cycle.
- Fresh air exchange: regular ventilation so carbon dioxide doesn’t build up.
Mushrooms usually start forming within one to two weeks in good conditions. Harvest just before the veil under the cap breaks. Also in stock: Stakz Magic Mushrooms.
6. Harvesting
Remove mature mushrooms gently, since bruising can cost potency. Prefer to skip the grow? Shop our Dried magic mushrooms.
7. Drying and Storage
Dry Malaysian mushrooms soon after harvest, ideally in a food dehydrator on a low setting. Store them in airtight containers away from light and moisture.
