Purple Trainwreck crosses Granddaddy Purple with Trainwreck, and you can taste both parents. Grape and berry sit on top. The peppery Trainwreck side runs underneath and keeps it from tasting like a plain fruit cart.

The oil comes from one farm instead of a blend, so it carries that grower’s conditions and shifts a little from harvest to harvest. Two carts bought months apart won’t be identical. That’s the trade-off, and it’s why Featured Farms is sold separately from Rove’s Premier line.
Running Purple Trainwreck Well
Use a variable-voltage battery if you have one. Single-origin oil holds more of the delicate aromatics than blended oil, and high heat burns those off first, so a cool draw and a hot draw taste noticeably different here.

Handling Purple Trainwreck
Keep the cart upright, cool and out of direct light, and use it within a couple of months. The grape top note is the more delicate half, so a cart stored warm starts tasting sharper and drier well before the peppery base changes.
