Stiiizy BAR
The Stiiizy BAR is a rechargeable device that takes a proxy pod, so it sits between the classic pod system and a throwaway disposable. You keep the BAR and swap the pod, which is cheaper over time than replacing a whole sealed unit every gram.
How it differs from the pod battery
The Stiiizy battery takes the standard Stiiizy pod. The BAR takes its own proxy pod and has a different form factor, flatter and wider, which most people find easier to pocket. If you already own pods, buy the battery. If you are starting fresh and like the flat shape, the BAR is the one.
Using it
Charge fully before first use. It is draw activated, so there is no button to hold. Seat the pod until it clicks; a pod that will not fire is almost always seated short or has residue on the contacts, and a dry cotton bud fixes the second one.
Store it upright. A device left on its side in a warm room is the usual cause of a flooded coil, and that is true of every pod format rather than anything specific to the BAR.
Colours
Six finishes, and as with the batteries the colour is a shell and nothing more. Same cell, same output. Pick the one you like the look of and do not pay a premium for a finish.
