Description
Cake HXC live resin runs a different cannabinoid from the rest of the 2.0 series. HXC, also written HHC, sets it apart from the Delta 8 and Delta 10 devices, and pairing it with live resin rather than distillate gives it the broadest strain list of any specialist device in the line.
Cake 2G Disposable Live Resin HXC Vape Pen Review
Cake makes a wide range of cannabis and hemp products, from vape pens to edibles. The HXC Live Resin Disposable holds 2 grams of HXC (HHC) in a disposable body, so it’s an easy pick for days on the go.
The oil is blended with native terpenes, so each flavor tastes like the strain it’s named after. The hardware is the standard Cake 2.0 build: an integrated battery, a ceramic coil, and draw-activated firing, so there’s no button to press. An LED battery life indicator shows how much charge is left, and the polycarbonate chassis is built to last.

Animal Cookies Cake HXC Live Resin
Animal Cookies was bred by the Canadian seed bank BC Bud Depot to push the potency and yield of its parent, Girl Scout Cookies (GSC). It’s roughly 70% indica and 30% sativa, and most people describe it as deeply relaxing. If you like it, take a look at the other Cake disposable bar flavors too.
Banana RNTZ HXC Live Resin Cake
People who smoke Banana Runtz usually describe it as happy and upbeat, with a calm edge that makes it a late afternoon or early evening strain. It can be strong. Start with a small hit, wait, and work up from there, since reactions vary a lot from person to person.
Blue Dream Cake HXC Disposable
Blue Dream is known for an energetic, cerebral high that a lot of people pair with creative work like writing or art. Its strength depends on genetics, growing, and processing, so treat your first session as a test and go slowly.
Kush Mints Disposable Cake Pen
Kush Mints tastes minty and cookie-like, with a gassy, piney note underneath. The high is balanced: relaxation and a body buzz, but with a clear head that some people find good for focused tasks.
Outer Space Sauce Cake Live Resin
Outer Space is a cross of Island Sweet Skunk and Trinity. It has a citrusy aroma and an uplifting, alert feel, which is why people tend to reach for it during the day. It has a reputation as a high-THC strain, so expect it to be on the strong side.
Pineapple Express Cake Vape Pen
Pineapple Express leans sativa and is known for an energetic, cerebral high. As flower it’s commonly listed around 20% THC. It’s high in pinene and limonene, which give it the sweet pineapple flavor with earthy, herbal notes behind it. There are several phenotypes, so effects and character can vary from plant to plant.
Strawberry Sour Diesel Cake HXC
Strawberry Sour Diesel is a heavy hitter, with flower THC reported as high as 22%. Experienced users tend to like it. If you’re newer or have a lower tolerance, start with something milder first.
Black Sherbet Live Resin
Black Sherbet is a social strain with a strong full-body high. The aroma is sweet berries and citrus over an earthy base.
Blackberry Kush Cake HXC Pen
Blackberry Kush is commonly described as calming, and people say the effects come on quickly. It tastes fruity and earthy.
Blood Orange Cake HXC Live Resin Disposable
Blood Orange is a sativa-dominant hybrid, about 70% sativa and 30% indica. People describe it as motivating and happy, with a light tingle. Too much can leave you feeling agitated, so newer users should start small and build up.
Rainbow Glue Cake HXC Live Resin Disposable
Rainbow Glue comes from a mix of landrace strains from different parts of the world. It’s an even 50/50 sativa and indica, and the high pairs euphoria with relaxation. It’s known for avoiding heavy couch-lock or overthinking, which makes it an easy middle-of-the-road choice.
What is HXC from the Cake Brand?
HXC is short for hexahydrocannabinol (HHC), a cannabinoid derived from hemp. Cake uses it in place of Delta 8 or Delta 10 in this device and pairs it with live resin instead of distillate.
What is HXC Live Resin Cake Disposable?
Live resin is a cannabis concentrate valued for flavor that stays close to the original plant. The difference is in how it’s made:
- Fresh, frozen plant material: the plant is flash-frozen right after harvest, which keeps the natural terpenes that give it flavor and aroma.
- Extraction: solvents such as butane or propane pull the cannabinoids and terpenes from the frozen material, keeping a wider range of compounds than some other methods.
- Terpene-rich: terpenes are the aromatic compounds behind each strain’s smell and taste, and live resin keeps more of them.
- Full-spectrum: it holds on to a wide range of the cannabinoids and terpenes found in the original plant, so the flavor is more complex.
Live resin shows up in dabs, vape cartridges, and edibles. In a disposable like this one, the main benefit is flavor that tastes more like the actual strain.
Is HXC Live Resin Cake Disposable good for you?
That depends on your health, why you’re using it, the product and strain, and how you consume it. Cannabis carries risks as well as potential benefits. If you’re thinking about it for a health reason, talk to a healthcare professional first.
For recreational use, know your local laws, go at your own pace, and pay attention to your own tolerance. A budtender at a licensed dispensary can help with questions about a specific strain or product.
